Anthony Returns to Sing at Siena Basketball Game

On Sunday, February 28, 2010, Anthony returned to where it all began for him...."The Times Union Center"....He sang the National Anthem in front of a crowd of over 8,000 for the Siena Men's basketball senior game.  It was yet again an amazing experience.  The Siena and Times Union staff were very accommodating and professional as usual.  The crowd was extremely supportive and cheered like crazy when the song was over.  It was a very special night.  A short 3 years ago, Anthony sang at another Siena game and that video on youtube now has over 4 million views.  We hope everyone enjoys this one just as much.

LA Dodgers Baseball Game

On August 5th, Anthony sang the National Anthem and God Bless America at the Los Angeles Dodgers game in LA.  It was a ton of fun.  Anthony rocked over 50,000 screaming fans. 

Thank you to Peggy and Mrs. Jonas who helped to book the gig and a huge thank you to Bret and the whole Dodgers staff.  Everyone was very kind and we can't wait to be invited back.

Kentucky Derby Festival

Howdy everyone...on April 25th and 26th Anthony sang the National Anthem at the Kentucky Derby Festival in Louisville.  The festival goes for the whole week before the actual Derby race. 

Anthony sang for America's Xtreme rodeo.  It was a great time.  The crowd was very patriotic and ate up the National Anthem.  It was a great experience and once again another time when we have met the nicest people in the country. 

Thank you to all of the cowboys and cowgirls and especially to Fred who is the President and CEO of the rodeo.  A great time was had by all and we hope in the future that Anthony will be asked to sing at the rodeo again.

Another First for Anthony

On Saturday, February 21, 2009, Anthony sang the National Anthem at the Empire State Plaza Convention Center infront of 1,300 people for Congressman Michael McNulty's Welcome Home gala. 

 

It was a beautiful tribute to a very special man.  It was an honor for Anthony to be on stage at this event with so many important people including John McNulty, Congressman Gary Ackerman, Bishop Howard Hubbard, Dr. Rabbi Paul Silton and Richard Iannuzzi (President of NYSUT). 

 

The highlight of the night had to be when we were talking with some people that we knew and Congressman McNulty, his wife, his daughters and his grandchildren all called Anthony over to their table to thank him for singing and take pictures.  Of course getting a hug from our great Mayor is also always fun.  (Mayor Jennings and Anthony are buddies.) 

 

This event was the fourth time Anthony sang the National Anthem this week.  The other times were at the Bethlehem Senior Night Basketball game, at the Times Union Center for Siena's last home game and then at SUNY Albany's senior game at the SEFCU Center. 

 

A very busy but fun filled vacation week.  Anthony can not wait to go back to school and get some rest.  :-)

Boston Bruins Kid Day

The Boston Bruins played the St Louis Blues at the Boston Garden on January 19, 2009 and they asked Anthony to sing the National Anthem. 

This was a huge honor considering that the same gentleman has sung the Anthem at all the Bruins' home games for the past 40 years.  Anthony was welcomed with opened arms and the fans loved him.  It was a great crowd and everyone we dealt with from the Bruins' organization was very kind and accommodating. 

Thank you Rachel and all of the Bruins staff for making us feel like part of the family.  We look forward to coming back again really soon.
