YouTube Kid Star - Anthony Gargiula

Anthony's video of him singing the National Anthem at the age of 7 in 2007 has brought in over 4 million views and has earned him the moniker "YouTube Kid Star." Since then, Anthony has been performing all over the United States doing what he loves best. He has appeared on the Ellen Show twice, Today Show, Carnegie Hall and numerous other outstanding venues.

Anthony Returns to Sing at Siena Basketball Game

On Sunday, February 28, 2010, Anthony returned to where it all began for him...."The Times Union Center"....He sang the National Anthem in front of a crowd of over 8,000 for the Siena Men's basketball senior game.  It was yet again an amazing experience.  The Siena and Times Union staff were very accommodating and professional as usual.  The crowd was extremely supportive and cheered like crazy when the song was over.  It was a very special night.  A short 3 years ago, Anthony sang at another Siena game and that video on youtube now has over 4 million views.  We hope everyone enjoys this one just as much.

Honor Society

Happy 1 Year Birthday to Strega Marketing.  Peggy and the beautiful women of Strega Marketing celebrated their 1 year birthday in Boston. 

Strega has been Anthony's marketing representatives since March.  The party was in Boston and the music was performed by no other than Honor Society.  After their sound check the members of the band came to Strega's party and reconnected with Anthony.  They exchanged CD's and signed each others.  Fun was had by all.  Now we have seen Honor Society in LA and in Boston.  I guess you can say that we are coast to coast fans.

 Anthony's Mom had a great idea.....let's go to NYC and see Tim McGraw perform on the Today Show.  While we are there, maybe we can reconnect with Tim and his management.  

So, we left home at 3:15 am and headed for the city.  As we were walking to the Today Show, one of the Today Show producers recognized Anthony from being on Ellen.  She gave us 4 fan passes which put us towards the front by the stage.  During Tim's sound check Anthony got on his Dad's shoulders holding a sign that said, "Hey Mr. McGraw, its me, Anthony, remember me?" 

Well, Tim did see the sign and he did remember Anthony.  Next Anthony's Mom gave one of Anthony's tee shirts to a security guard to give to Tim and he did.  Tim thanked Anthony from the stage and told the crowd that Anthony was an amazing singer.  Next thing we knew, security was taking us to the side of the stage because Tim wanted to see us.  As the band was playing an instrumental part of one of the songs, Tim came to the side of the stage and motioned for Anthony to come over to him.  After a short conversation, Tim invited Anthony up on the stage.  He introduced Anthony to the crowd and told his band that Anthony was going to sing a song.  Anthony at 6:30am without any warm up or even a glass of water, took the stage and belted out Carrie Underwood's version of Home Sweet Home.  

The crowd went crazy and afterward Tim took pictures with the whole family and signed autographs.  Tim also asked us to watch his concert from the VIP viewing area.  Tim then sent his manager, Jay McCarthy over to speak with all of us about the possibility of Red Line Management (Tim's management) making Anthony an offer to sign.  We are still in contact via phone, email and text messages.  We are hoping to come to an agreement soon.  

The moral of the story.....Always listen to your mother (and wife) when they say, "I have an idea..."

Jonas Brothers and Honor Society

After we went to the Jonas Brother's concert on August 8th at the Staples Center in LA, we went across the street and saw Honor Society in their own mini tour called "Full Moon Crazy."  Wow, they are incredible musicians.  You can tell that they sure do love what they do and are very grateful to all who have helped them get where they are today. 

 

We had the opportunity to meet the band after the concert.  They recognized Anthony right away from seeing him on the Ellen show and they all hit it off right away.  Alex, Jason, Michael and Andrew you guys rock and are so amazing.  Anthony's dream is to open for you on your world tour the way you are opening for the JoBros on theirs.
